Field Usage

Please follow the City parks rules, each city is different.  Most City park boards require each association to apply for the usage of these fields each year.  There is no excuse for us to lose the use of a field because we are not able to follow simple rules..  We need to do a better job of clean-up after the games.

Most Parks:

Alcohol of any kind is not permitted

No Smoking of anything is permitted

Pets are not permitted, read the signs

Pick up after your games!!! There are multiple trash cans for garbage.

Welcome to Twin Cities North Football League

Who we are - The Twin Cities North Football League “TCNFL” (formerly known as the North Suburban league) is an informal association of communities located in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis and St. Paul organized with the intent to provide a football league for youths in grades 2nd through 8th.  The league is the direct descendant of the Blaine-Spring Lake Park youth football league that started in 1968, and has grown over the years due to the collective common sense and cooperation of park and recreation associations, community education professionals,  and community volunteers from many different communities.

Now as one of the  largest Youth football league in the country.  Twin Cities North Football League focuses on community based tackle football teams from 2nd grade through 8th grade.  Many of the community football programs/associations are connected to there area High Schools.

Philosophy and League Functions – The league is organized with the intent to promote, organize and coordinate the activities of its member communities with the goal of enhancing the quality of football in the Twin Cities area.  The league is an informal organization, and operates with a minimum of rules, regulations, policies and procedures. League members believe that the focus of the organization should be on providing youths with the opportunity to play football and increasing overall participation in the sport, and should not be on the personal agendas of various adults who are not interested in the long-term growth of the sport.
